Interest Rates for Mortgages May be Rising Soon

Interest rates for 30 year mortgages have been hovering at or near 4% for some time now. That’s a good thing because it’s eased the pain of home prices that have climbed by as much as one-third in Southern California over the last two years. But rates may start climbing as the Fed moves to end quantitative easing.
